Welcome to the AeschynomeneBase

The AeschynomeneBase is an integrated web-based database providing centralized access to genetic and genomic data for the model legume Aeschynomene evenia developed by IRD (UMR LSTM) and supported by the SouthGreen Bioinformatics Platform. Data available are the complete genome sequence along with gene structure, gene product information, gene families and gene expression profiles.

The AeschynomeneBase provides also tools for easy querying, visualizing and downloading research data.

The Aeschynomene evenia reference genome sequence results from collaboration between IRD (UMR LSTM), the GenoToul BioInformatics Facility and CIRAD (UMR AGAP), and was funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR). A high-quality draft A. evenia genome was generated and deep transcriptome sequencing performed. These data allow exploring the A. evenia genome structure and organization, as well as important aspects of nodulation and evolution of the rhizobium-legume symbiosis.
